In 1964 Gaspar Perelló decided to pedal his local Arbequina olives at Barcelona’s famous Boqueria Market, being well received amongst the shoppers he soon started expanding his range to other olive varieties from all over Spain and that's how the Perello story started.
A selection of their finest olives is available from the deli. Choose from the following:
- Cocktail Picante - Pitted green Manzanilla olives and black Cuquillo olives with stones, combined with pickled silverskin onions and baby gherkins in a spicy marinade spiked with pickled guindilla chillis. 350gm tin, 180gm drained.
- Manzanilla Picante - Medium-sized, green, pitted Manzanilla olives with pickled guindilla chillies for a spicy kick. 350gm tin, 150gm drained.
- Gordal Picante - These large, pitted green Gordal olives are crisp, firm textured and meaty and are packed in a spicy brine with pieces of Guindilla chilli for a noticeable touch of heat. 350gm tin, 150gm drained.
